This traditional practice consists of heating basalt stones of volcanic origin in a hot water bath, the temperature of which remains constant, in order to induce, during the massage with these stones, physiological effects of relaxation and detoxification.
A few fresh stones are also used which are introduced in the middle of the hot stone sequences on suitable areas.
The alternation of hot and cold causes a pleasant surprise.
